Anne Cook English

Estate Planning & Probate

Anne practiced as an attorney with two statewide law firms before serving as a law clerk for two U.S. District Court Judges. During this time, Anne started and managed a real estate investment business with her husband Matt. Both as a litigator advocating for clients and as a law clerk assisting federal judges, Anne always enjoyed the cooperative and problem-solving aspects of her job. These are two skills that she puts to use in her estate planning practice.

Anne’s estate planning practice began after seeing friends and family members forced to deal with bureaucracy, legal red tape, and even severed family relationships from lack of planning. As a lawyer, a mother, and a business owner, Anne realized she was in a position to assist others navigate life’s difficult medical and legacy decisions with empathy and knowledge.

Anne is an accessible and approachable guide through the estate planning process. Her clients can sleep well at night knowing that they have a plan in place for themselves and their loved ones.

Anne is a member of the Bluegrass Estate Planning Council, Kentucky Bar Association, Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, U.S. District Court – Eastern Districy of Kentucky, WealthCounsel, and a member of the ARAG network.

She enjoys spending time with her family (Matt, their son, and dog), hiking, running, and reading a good book.
